No harness or chair???

Looks like he was sitting in the chair and the photo shows 2 clips on the lugs, so I would say a bum harness but the youngster is not using it right. I am sure with the excitment he just wanted to pump and wind!!!  Lekker stuff well done!!!

Yeah, he was sitting in the chair, but not useing a harnass. We did clip the reel, just in case....

Look, the fish was not huge, by any stretch of the imagination, but for a 15-year-old, he pulled that fish like a deamon! I, for one, am expecting great things from him.

I think this puts an end to the "sissy" issue.... w;k

Just got an email from Duarte... they released 2 black marlin out of 3 yesterday, on live bait aboard Kambaku!

Well done!

Launched this morning for a quick (4 hour) session as a deckie on Oba Oba... sea was flat and the water kinda dirty... we tried a bit of everything (deep for bills about 2 hours), drifting with mackies for couta, jigging and speed trolling... NOTHING!

Only got 1 halfbeak tail cut off 2 mm from the hook (arrrghhhh!!!!!!) and a strike on an x-rap (probably a small tuna) that we lost!!!!

Anyway, it was good to be out in the blue again!!!!!

Long overdue, feel free to point out anything that could be done to revive this fish. Suggestions are welcomed.
