Probably by about Wednesday. Saterday afternoon and Sunday morning will be scary, especially if you don't know the venue you are at very well. :shk  :craz: :hnthnt:

How will this affect the fish's feeding behaviour after Wednesday ?  Dropping flow = not good ???  :dunno:

If the flows remain constant after Sunday's decrease for 3 days, then the fish should have settled and resume their normal feeding patterns. If we get a lot of rain in the catchment over the weekend, then they may not decrease the flows to as low as 16, on Sunday afternoon.
Lots of variables.  :cnfzd w;k

A whole bunch of us fished Oord Nebo Sunday. Flows were around30 on arrival and only started rising at about 11:30 in the morning. I know that Tiaan, ( Yella ) and Christo were planning on fishing untill around 3 pm, so maybe the can shed more light on the flows later in the day. wouldn't say that the fishing was off the wall, but I'm pretty sure that nobody blanked.
I managed 4 yellows and a muddie. :-) Flies that worked were hot spots and for me a mustard caddis.
I fouled the biggest yellow  :-( in the dorsal fin, and it took me for a walk 300m downstream, before a fellow f/f who I've never met before landed it for me :happ: as my net was anyway too small :-(
Must get a bigger net, the way the fishing is going this summer. :rck" :fshn: :hnthnt:

Doc, Rory, Etienne, Grant and I fished a venue below Parys on Sunday. I was hoping that the fishing would be off the wall, but alas I was disappointed. Got 1 nice yellow of around 3kg early in my favourite spot and than nothing, nada, boggerall. :dunno:

Meantime every time I looked across at Rory and Doc, fishing the main river below me, their rods were bent  :-( :happ:.

I eventually moved down to Rory to share some "Silverberry" to see that Doc had waded across to the other side through for him, neck deep water. :shk :shk

Rory kept on hooking, and I nothing, so I went back to my possie, and NADA.

The clouds started looking ominous so I left the water at around 11:30, shortly followed by Rory and Doc. The first thunder and lightening started just before we left, with Etienne and Grant still on the water, hope they played it safe.
If we caught fish on every trip, it would be called " Catching". We don't, and that's why it's called "Fishing".
