Geez Mark, nicely done bud!! Reckon you need to plug in a couple days leave late next month so we can have a crack at the jigging again... All in all looks like a good weekend off the KZN coast, good to see...
So its basically the same at the tropicals we get in Inhambane, just a lot shallower - 20-30m, sometimes they are so thick it looks like bait on the sounder and they take whipped spoons 5-10m from the boat.
Geelbek and Garrick is about all it worth going for this time of the year, snoek are pretty much all year round but have been dismal this year.Geelbek on the deep wrecks and backline at Lugs for Garrick if conditions permit - it can be quite dangerous and the skipper should not fish.No need to go to the containers for bait - there is more bait on the Barge. Maybe see you down there for a beer.
Windguru has the wind pumping from tomorrow till well into next week. You may want to consider launching your boat in the harbour and settling for a grunter. Launch at the public slipway next to royal natal yacht club. Just log your trip in and out with the SAP stationed next to the slipway.
