Niice reports ChapsNice Tuna Scott, seems your mojo for sailies on the new boat is good
we fished Durbs yesterday. Was a beaut of a day with a fairly decent swell running, but the sea was flat...Headed out to target tuna and found bait very easily!!Our first pull of the morning resulted in us getting bitten off, the speed that the reel was screaming meant one thing... . We changed to steel traces and went away about 30mins later with another wahoo. The speed of this fish was insane. i havent witnessed a fish move like that!!! this fish also ended up breaking us off...We then set the baits again and about an hour later had another pick up... This time is was on the one mono trace we were fishing, and this was a tuna... Fish went deep and spat the hook!!!we ended the day with 3 lost fish!! not good , but thats fishing!!We always fish circle hooks and have not missed a fish with them before. We have recently changed from using a gama's circle to the mustad and have been missing fish. Do you think this could be and issue? Has anyone else experienced this???
