What a awesome stealth mission on Saturday ...fished agulhas from early morning and my crew got rewarded .we were under seige with galjoen ..all between 40-50cm ....a stupendous amount was C&R as it's out of season .. many bos kob where also C&R . But all hell broke loose when the kobbies went off the bite ....there was runs that popped leaders but i managed to turn one ....rewarded with a 75cm steam train .

Went put agian yesterday . Managed a bunch of good sized elf . But we're not sure , if the season opens on the 15 th of nov or 15 th oct. so all was released.

The fish went of the bite a bit yesterday. I think or have noticed , when the wind turns more south than east , temps drop and fish go slow

We did see something amazing , a seaturtle .
At firsts I skeemed , a plastic bag , then Kobus saw her too and after a while w saw her again. I could not confirm what species it was but , I assume it was not yet fully grown.
It was a other shade of brown and about the size of a bigggg dinner plate.

The kob has been eating basicly anything.
Some guys have had good catches on white mussel. But we caught our fish on tjokka ad mullets .

The bunch of sharks came out mainly on mullets and mackerels .j

Lenny, the Elf season is closed from 1st of October to the 30th of November.

Rock and surf has been on and off . Last week plenty of fish . Good kob , just size elf and some large grunters .

Livebait are very scarce .
There's some good tjokka around for 135 per kg , ver. Good for edibles and one goes far .

Here's tons of raggies
Konrad and dyl, each got one each friday night , 165 and 178 cm . Saterday there as a boland thing happening a couple of guys got thick into a rag smash , they must have landed 20 or so , while we were around . They fished die brood . They also got cows but don't kno location .
I will let Konrad tell he rest of their mission.

A big bronze got landed at de mond by a boland angler deep in he 80/90 kg.

I found out today that our company is not going to work straight through the festive season and those that don't have any leave will be on un paid leave.
