Guys had an epic Dawnie mission . Get pulled flat  twice .

Ran out of Livies , got a crab / 8/0 JP managed to land a cracker , 78cm released .

Took some convincing from my part but swam away strong .

Wind up now , swell not too unmanageable .down at suider, water very clean and cold .
But from the wreck to die plaat some verrrryyyyy good looking waters ....

Nice man! Sounds like an awesome cracker! Didn't manage to get any pics? Glad the fishing is improving!

Update "

Rocks and surf , most guys have been hiding from the wind ' the swell was also really big , and with the blood moon ect , the condisions have not been very conducive .

I suspect , some good fish showing in the coming weeks , the signs are al there .
Have seenu number of puff adders .
I reccomend should you want tot fish , you either do the worm mission , and look for a steen , or belman on die plaat , with 2 days of se wind you can laat waai with the throw net and live mullets .
I saw very large mullets right in the shallows around the die last his week.

Heads up , the elf season is closed now until 30 November , please guys I know it's tempting , but rather not .

Offshore ,

Large shoals of sharks are getting worked by the comms , when they can go to sea , with the wind and weather now maybe once in 10 days .... But the good news is , it's a good sign because the small yellowtail are not far behind them .
7/10 can confirm we had some good catches later year mid October .

In my opinion , I am not so convinced we will havea proper seasn like last year , the rumour haas it , that the  el niņo will make it a bumbler season , I know the water temps will be up , and we might have some  surface action this year , they do come up when the temps very high .  I am however unsure , was it on the El niņo or the year after that the fish was so poor ,

Shot Lenny

with the skins this weekend I think thats where we will be heading. There or brandfontein. Will be bringing some wurm and got redbait and mussels in the freezer. Think some of the guys might also pump some prawn.

any idea what they got the gallies on?

I also see the swell is quite big on sat so I think the fishing might be a little tough and id pick redbait as the aas of choice.

Will be good to be back in struis either way!

Very nice kob around guys ,coven on the westerly .

The guys have been getting lots of kob between , skiulpies baai and geelkransie .

You'll have to fish on the pushing tide , any working water that's rolling in from the back .

The pofadders are also out in numbers , so be warned  and take care .
