Lenny, I have signed for a house in Panorama today and I promise I will come and visit asap. I'm going home in two weeks and going to bring all my tackle back first.  :hnthnt:

morning Gents...

I will only be back for 3 days in Oct so time will be a problem and have to fit new rubbing strokes to the boat in that time or it will eat into my December fishing - which I don't want.

If we can patch up during those three days so be it, but just don't count on it as it will depend on weather and family program but lets see closer to the time.... you are always welcome to swing past the house for a coffee or something stronger on your way in our out of Struis... you all three have my number.

Lenny - you owe us a visit and Keelan would love to show his partner in crime his Bow...

There might even be some early tail around... last year we were catching by mid October.

Braham - we did not patch up last time so Dec is a must - 16th to 23rd or there abouts would be a good time. Hope you in town then? I would ask Herman, but okes that move from Knysna to CT need their heads tested! Maybe you can restrain him in a strait jacket and bring him with... we can discuss the finer points closer to the time..

I will be there from 18th to 21st Oct.

Regards,

7/10s

:hehe: 7/10!! If I had not made the move I would be on the streets by now. At least I am closer to Struis and the Cape's Tuna grounds. It is our wedding anniversary on the 17th of October so I might be in Knysna that weekend. Maybe my wife and son can meet me in Struis. If all else fails I can just send her some flowers and tell her I have to work that weekend.  :creep: :creep:
We will make a plan to come to Struis in December, the Big Blue is calling!!

We fished 2 spots today , first mullet was not in VAS , but did not  sit .

Me an Jp freaked out got other rods in .

And very dissapointing , the rest of the day we got 2 small gullies and a big barbel .

The area we fished , was looking super good colour , alles , but the water was strong , the areaway fished tend to be either dead dead or alive with al sorts ....

Lenny glad all is well.

Awesome about the permit, that and your bait delivery method should put you on some monsters!

I wish the lighty was keeping me busy, work is more of the issue - such is life.

Coming up with some mates to support the skins in October...

Good luck with the fishing - post some pics bro!

@SAfish - congrats on finding a spot in Panaroma - good, decent area and central! Hope it all goes well in CT for you!

@SAfish likewise! We will make a plan im sure...

@bettys...yip bud you and me both...I fish the pearly beach comps on and off as well...its still the done thing in the southern cape.

One thing I can say I say is size and bag limits are adhered to and nothing goes to waste...they even auction off fish at the skins for the cause.

It is sad to see the odd mature fish end up on the scale...defying the odds for so long...but with prizes on the line I think all comps with substantial prizes do this to avoid cheating...
