Bennie the missus and I have unfinished bussiness with these predators. My 2mm leader is still unscathed and that is no good mate. No point in beating about the bush. If you want them they are there in Pemba. Paul Borcherds had just as an amazing trip out there earlier.

Lets wait for the dates and take it from there but I'm seriously interested!

As JSR are now selling places to this destination I would appreciate some clarity on the numbers of fish caught on this trip.

It would also be intersteing to compare it to the numbers that come out of some of the 'world class" spots around the globe and of course in Africa. Was is approx  70 GT by 4 anglers over 3 days or 70 by Onda over three days. Or was it all species. From the pics I have seen the GT look to be between 15 and 35 kg -  would that be a correct assessment ?

Many thanks..

Any feedback regarding this question

My personal telly on the bank was 16 GTs in 2 and a half day  about 10 wahoo 1 black jack 1 boha snapper 1 dogtooth tuna in total I lost 1 monster GT wrapped me up in the sticks and a 30kg plus GT straighten the Rapala VMC hook on the back of the Cubera Popper and we lost a sail fish that were hooked but the leader got bill raped and then your leader is history, part of fishing!!! The rest of the landed fish was by ROY GRAIG and DON

I believe it is a Blue Fin Trevally. No it wasn't photo shopped. According to the Skipper on the boat it was the biggest he had ever seen. Well done Craig

Hi Guys, we will have the confirmed dates and costs for the 2 x April trips in the next week. (The BUGGER is dealing with airline costs, fuel for the boat etc. for 2011) so as soon as those are finalised we will send out a JSA Newsletter advertising the trip.

April trips will be limited to 2 groups (4 Jiggers/Poppers per group) and dates will be committed and final.

They will be on a 1st reserved, 1st paid, then only go basis.

October is 3 trips - the first 2 for charter, and the last for the same band of hooligans as on this trip..... with 1 addition. Andre - Nepps WILL be with us!!!!!   :happ: :happ: :happ:

more on this soon - Cheers, RB

Fantastic report, waiting for the next one.
A bad days fishing is better than sitting at home moping.
