So the weather is strange with basicly a SSE wind to SE moderate to strong [ late afternoons ]
Good news is that  fish are on the bite , and does not seem to be so affected , weather patterns that we have be fishing for years , seem to have changed or its just the season thats late .

I also know that inland [ my couz in Van Zylsrus ] deseprately need rain , and I know when the Black South easter pumps in CPT , that their chance for raid are good . Can I ask of you guys to please keep this in your prayers , I am sure some of you and your families are also affected by this .

Back to fishing TODAY : Today is a fishing day for sure , I dont have bait , but will go through a Paddle tial or 2 , its nice and overcast too . Pending on others we might put in a session tonight too .

If one can just get you baits past the Blacktails , and Wildeperd , not that I am complaining . :yipee:

Definitely not a fishing day in Knysna today as we have thunderstorms every 30 minutes but Sunday looks good.  :hnthnt: :fshn:

I'm sure this easterly winds we having in bringing the brown water in and around struisbaai and agulhas , where u see a patch of brown water , throw in that paddletail and look for a kob , otherwise sardine and chokka , good catches of kob at der mond on worm baits in the week !

So there's some food for thought !  :tite

So my dad took some time and headed of to a spot , he told me he made 3 Casts , got smashed on the first cast , on an Occyleg , I know what it was , second cast , big overwind . On the third cast VASSSS , after a short tussle he managed to pull it over a ledge , landed it and released it , un harmed . He said in the region of 12 kgs . He ran out of Bait , and came home without a Pic .
The local paper also reported a really Big Cracker of over 16 kg's by a local over the weekend , some guys also did really good withthe Steenbrasse , some ladies even managed a couple . Another person , who does not want his name mentioned anywhere , did very very well with the Cob and landed a few of over 10 kgs , with the biggest clocking in on 21kgs , spot hpowever I have my suspisions , but the person simple does not share where he fishes ...

So in short FISH ARE HERE !

Don't know what is cooking but fish is coming out all over the coast. Heard of plenty of bigg cob coming out on Paredys in the eastern cape. People are talking of many cobs over 30kg and plenty over 12kg. Some thing is cooking in the weather. Never seen fish coming out all over the place like now.

Some seriously good looking water all the from die plaat to past the lighthouse , forsure KOB water , small swell alles . the Westerlies are pumping today agian , and the cold front are on its way . I would have fished but have some things to deal with .

A bunch of guys were looking from bait along the rocks .
At this stage , the weekend looks bleak in terms of weather and wind .
