Was wondering where this post went .. duh  , another spinning / plugging rod to look at is the Penn Legion range , 10ft , cast weight 2-4 oz and 24T graphite with a carbon wrap .. :hnthnt: ... the Torque range of spinning rods looks impressive as well with some vast ranges of casting weights  , the 12 ft version throws from 4-10 oz ... hmmm interesting indeed .

I also spin from this spot with an exceler 9.6 and average the same distance as guys with multipliers.....p.s  the yellowtail also come very close

Ok, got myself the Poisiden 11.6 ultra light hmg
Paired with a shimano  ultegra c14 xsa 550  :hnthnt:  to be loaded with some spider thread.

Gerhard , it gets better , had a throw on Sat with Docs,  Waft Iron Feather 11ft 6' rated 3-5 oz with adjustable reel seat .... very nice indeed .

Western Accesories stock them , not sure on the pricing though  i think 2k , Doc got his 2nd hand for a bargain .... and its the slim blank as well , nice and light .... eish so many rods and such little time... :nuts: .
