Had withdrawal symptoms yesterday afternoon. Caught six small kingies and one pick handle between my mate and I.

Thats fantastic man!! i actually want to go there and do some fly fishing! Im a greenhrn to fly fishing lol how should i retrieve the fly? do i let it sink? i would think to target the kingies it would mean a fast retieval am i right?

Haneef most predatory fish species want a fast retrieve like you said  :-) if that doesnt work try letting the line sink and retrieving it via a stop start method. This way you will create a bit of a disturbance on the bottom and possibly intice any fish to attack it!
