Just got my new Shimano Speedstick Kaibutsu in preparation for our Mapelane trip. Thanks for the advice Tommo  it looks and feels great, looking forward to trying it out.

 My bad its a Speedstick not a speed master. Its a 9 foot 5 inch rod for throwing plugs and lures. sry sry

What reel will you put on it, how much do they cost??

I will proberly be using my Mitchel 489 (pulled a 25kg GT with it) but I'd like to get the Saragosa 1800 (R2500.00). The Speedstick was R2500.00.  I could have got it for R2175.00 but I don't have  the time.
