Worked internationally Distribution Services Oil Industry (UAE, Angola)
Now at Busby, dealing with fast moving consumer goods in the Fashion Industry.
Normally walk into a business and have to redesign log systems, procedures and warehouses to get the best out of what is available.

I work for Cisco Systems, the largest networking company in the world and probably the backbone on which most major networks connected to the internet are built.

I am responsible for looking after the maintenance contracts at one of the major Service Providers in SA. From making sure that critical core equipment are supported with Advanced Hardware replacements to making sure that 24x7 international support centers are aligned to support the customer. We also run several high-end projects annually where we take responsibility for deploying new and critical technologies in their various commercial networks.

In partnership with my brother in two companies:

a glass processing plant Nelson Glass & Mirror cc

We import stock sheets of glass and mirror and do all processing in-house:
Cutting, Polishing, waterjet cutting, CNC profiling, sandblasting, bevelling, painting and toughening.

and Glass Inc ( not the one in Durban) - specialize in the installation of all frameless glass, showers, ballistrades, partitions and mirrors.

Cool thread - its amazing what people do for a living.

I am an Aircraft Engineer at Northern Air in Maun. Okavango, Botswana, responsible for a fleet of 53 aircraft that fly tourists to and from the camps in the Okavango Delta. I hold a South African engineer license with Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe validation. The great thing about working in Maun is I get to go fishing every weekend.

NAUI Dive instructor and small craft skipper. I Take divers out off Durban from time to time on our dive boat and trying to learn the art of deep sea angling.

Part time I build marine aquariums and I am the only South African manufacturer of purpose built marine aquarium lighting systems.

This is my latest design using revolutionary plasma lighting technology. The lamp is the size of your pinkie finger nail and lasts for 10 years and uses minimal electricity vs the amount of light it supplies.

Also an aircraft engineer , work for Pilatus Centre Southern Africa on PC 12 aircraft and PC6 Porter as well , look after about 65 a/c in total including those based in sub saharan africa , fish part time , would rather reverse it though , fish full time ad work part time on aircraft..
