WAFT HIGHLANDER ZAMBEZI

Hello gents i have finally found a set up that works for me , i managed to get my hands on a waft zambezi and got t done up for my Ci4 , its a slim 7 and we thre bonnie heads that were aerodynamically cut lol with fillets whole makies , mullets with a 6oz sinker and had no probs , the bronzies were loose this week end and this is what was landed by my partner Anand Naicker ---- 80kg with Ci4 and a bonnie head at Maccassar

fight was about an hour of which a third was spent in the first gutter , strong water with a seriuos side wash contributed to the extended fight , i do belive he would have taken less time had the conditions been more favorable , i had a fish on for about an hour also on a bonnie head , and the  fell to the realms of a kelp root and its barnacles , i could see the kelp and feel it as the leader went through it , the 100lb whiplash leasder parted eventually , man i almost cried lol

Excellent catch.Can you please tell me what rod did Anand use to land this beauty?

 used a fi nor . its a 12'rod with a few diferent tips . it even comes.with a shortened butt section i

Cool thanks.That rod must have some backbone to chuck a bonnie head and to tame that fish. :resp:
