Decided to take the day off yesterday and took my father in law(Bob) and another friend fishing.

The NE had been blowing sunday and the sea was a mess. Launched at first light and had a real fight with the sea to get to the bait marks. Bob was sea sick before we even tryed for bait. Had him standing at the front of the boat watching the horizon.

The bait are plentiful and had bait in no time. Put out 2 Mozzies and was not long and

. Landed a nice bonnie.

Tried a bit further north but nothing so decided to go back to were we got the bonnie. Put the lines out again and

once again but this time the reel screamed. Had a really good fight with this fish and put big pressure to get it to the boat. A nice YFT.

Put the lines out again and on again. Let my other friend fight this one. Chased and chased it and eventually when saw the number plate. About the same size as my YFT and bang there came the taxman.

All in all had a great time out. Pity about the taxman being around so much. Lost quite a few fish in the last couple of trips to him.

Nice one Anthony, those damn sharks are a problem.

We will be down the weekend, probably give it a go Sunday. Maybe I should bring my 20k to teach those johnnies a lesson, it has been a while since I felt the deep burn

Weekend weather looking good. Come sort these sharks out. So many of them you cant go wrong. Best bait a nice Tuna.

You guys have got excellent weather all weekend, I'll be at the club house green with envy. My boats in for some cosmetic surgery ( a nip n tuck )

I only found out today that monday is a public holiday BONUS, gonna take my fishing rod along to the club and if i get pissed enough.

I might just catch one of those big grunter in the Ushaka canal.
