I am attaching a pic of the rocks that stick out into the sea at the mouth, with an arrow showing where the spot is to plug for garrick. This is an awesome spinning point, which is a bit like an island at high tide. You stand fairly high up, so you can see the garrick clearly coming in on the popper and can watch the take. The water was lovely and clean and I could see the other garrick swimming with the hooked fish. One fish stayed with each hooked fish right up to the edge when the fish were landed. I like to think that they found their buddies again after they were released!

Gerhard, Umgazana is in the Transkei, just South of Port St Johns. It is close to Brazen Head, on a very beautiful piece of coastline.

Only problem is the routes to the spots will limit quite a few guys. Serious 4x4 or driving skills needed. Still such an awesome spot though
