Congrats Darren. The outfit looks jobs.I'm also contemplating converting my S6 for the grinder.I'm finding the P6 from Gremlins a little on the soft side. Can you give me some feedback with respects to casting with the S6?

Thanks Guys@Donsa,Thats the reason why i never buy a P6,also felt it to be abit on the soft side. I had this Assassin Heavy for years, then decided to convert it, and boy does it throw well. Went for some Greys today, was throwing a 5oz and bait atleast 140meters. Still getting used to the setup, but i'm sure my distance will improve soon, and the pulling power is much better then the P6 :win: You won't go wrong if you convert you're S6 bud

Hey Don, you know the saying, different strokes for different folks, the t/flex is by all means a machine rod, but i always loved my Assassin Heavy, and i couldn't justify spending R2500 on a T/flex, which i don't really like when i already had a great rod laying around

true dat !, i am so far enjoying the rod , havent caught anything to brag about yet , just a small 3kg kobbie ! but the experience was electrifying , i have a waft musselcracker being built up for a grinder a nd a 10000gx sceptre spinning reel , the musselcracker has a similair feel to the t flex , maybe alittle stiffer so i cant wait , got the rod for next to nothing brand new and the reel is on trial paid 700 buck , butits solid , aluminium frame and has a long cast spool and a drag of note will post the trial results and our finding s its a nifty little reel this !

Yep have to put this windcast to the test, it hasn't proven itself like the Ultegra. Ay those Waft Rods are machine, saw a bally from Zululand throw with his(not saw what model) and a Saltiga 40 +bait, 180meters  plus easily! Everyone just stands and looks when this owe gooi's!
