Ultegra 5500 for edibles

Hi guys i have become so obssesed with this grinder revolutin i saw the Poseidon extender today its a 13'6 4-6 ounce beauty i wanna pair it with an Ultegra or similar type grinder say 5500 what are your thoughts on this setup or should i get another reel

In my mind the Ultegra is a  :win: for scratching and other edibles... I would love to get one myself!

Don if you are going to fish with 4-6oz then stay with your 14000 that you are getting. My 5500 I only use with max a 3oz sinker.

hey fritz i wanna fish lighterbthat rod seems lighter than what youd expexted for a 6 ounze , i think the ratings are off cause a bloke on sealine brok the tip with his first cast ;lol i wouldnt throw more than a five ounce for kobbies , just scared off the rod breaking i will have a better look at the rod before i buy it , the blue marlin ELS also came out with a light rod now

So has anyone actually fished with the poseidon extender? If so what are your impressions. Looking at the 2-4oz version to use with a daiwa exceler 5000 grinder.
