Accommodation
« on: July 14, 2011, 09:30:08 AM »
Please I will appriciate if anyone can give me so info on accommodation on KZN South Coast. I need a place where I can take my dog with me which is a St Bernard. We always go to camp at Rocky Bay but they will not allow Bruce, only lapdogs. Altough Bruce have jumped a couple of toims on my lap already it doesn't count. :hehe: The place must have garden and sleeping place for myself and my wife. The time period we are looking at will be towards the end of August. Bill Best has acommodation in Port Edward but we cannot make it at the dates they have open.
Secondly we need to go to Plet in the begining of October and if you know of anyone that will be willing to come and stay at our place in Kaapsehoop for a week to take care of Bruce it will be much appreciated. I am willing to pay the person or persons to come and have a holiday at our place.

Hi Willie, your best bet would be to go on the website "wheretostaykzn" (think thats it) and maybe find something there, I think large dogs could be a problem.
A bad days fishing is better than sitting at home moping.

Viskop thanks I actually have their book but decided to take a chance in phoning a few of the place that is advertised as they all say small pets by arrangement, but the good news :happ:  is that Oasis caravanpark will allow Bruce. I spoke to Eddie the owner and he is quite comfortable with me bringing Bruce along. Wow holiday and  :fshn:  at last. Guess where I will be end of August. :yipee:

Great, glad you managed to find a place.
I hate going on holiday without my "children", but i don't think they mind as they are in heaven at my parents' place whenever we go somewhere they are not welcome. Parents have 8 dogs of their own and they eat woolworths roasted chicken for dinner there.

Bruce also get chicken and R80-00 worth of biltong every week. He goes balistic when I go away for work so I can imagine what is going to happen in October when we must go to Plet  :dunno:
