Anything planed for Monday?

My Monday will be spent at home with the family. :sml:
If we caught fish on every trip, it would be called " Catching". We don't, and that's why it's called "Fishing".

The new owners were breaking down the old Spa for developement. They ran into trouble, the exact nature of said trouble I do not know.
The place is derilict, half broken down, and makes one want to cry when you remember it when it was Still running.

As for directions, Take the N1 South as if going to Bloem. After the Toll Gate take the third exit , Vanderbijlpark/Potchefstroom. ( As if you were going to Eendekuil or Eastco, or GVP. or Strome.)
At the T junction turn LEFT, towards VanderBijl, after about 1km you will see a sign BARRAGE, as well as Erina Spa. Turn right here and follow the road to the T junction. Turn right at the T junction and follow the signs to the Barrage. Go over the Vaal  and you will see a road on your left going to Sasolburg. Take this road, after about 1-2km's you will see the turn off to Erina on your left.  Follow the signs untill you get to the gates. If no one is there go to the right hand gate, open it  and then follow the road down. Where the road splits take the right hand fork and follow it down to the bluegums.

Hope to  see you there. :happ:

Good 'ol Erina! Caught my first SM there. Great runs, easy wading and plenty spots all close by to eachother.

It is sad to see the place so destroyed and nothing happening, hope it does get restored!

With all the rain we bin having in the Vaal Triangle over the last 2 days, the flows at Erina are now 73 tons.
We may have to move the venue to the Italians or Silverstrome. PLease keep in touch by phone during the course of tomorrow.

Pieter, the Italians is just below the Vaal Dam wall. I think he calls the place Paradise streams. Theflows are low ( release from the dam is 16tons ) but the wading is not easy with big boulders, especially under the high level bridge. :shk :unhap :shk
