« on: March 04, 2011, 04:33:52 PM »
Hi guys have any of you caught any weird fish on lures? Ie unusual fish that normally wont take a lure, spoon, jig or popper?

Besides a few cuttlefish on spoon and soft plastic this is the most unusual fish I have caught on lure, a Cape Moony  :cnfzd on a halco laser pro, foul hooked but they still count  :hnthnt: any of you guys caught any unusual fish on lure?

Does a finger smelling of fish count? :lolo:  My uncle once caught an Octopus with a rapala while fishing for Kob at De Mond. We had to kill it to get the lure back and it weighed 7.2kg. I still have a photo somewhere which I will scan and post on Monday.
