I don't know about catching Jaen out so much as he nows a thing or 2, but I know where you going with this. Most tackle stores are just keen to sell you gear that you would only use in exoctic places for monster size fish. How often you see anglers(new comers) fishing with lures that are way to big, tackle that is way oversized for the application they need. <: swr I once was one of these poor clients that new nothing at all. :dunno:

But since  :ult: things have changed a little :tkx:

It is not about catching out, but yes you have a valid point, it is about feeding an addiction.

Quick heads up guys. I just arrived in Mtunzini.

I drove to Piet Retief (please you do not, 4 stop and go between Ermelo and Piet Retief, take amsterdam rather ), from there the guys on Piet Retief said the Pongola road is undriveable, so I turn inwards to Paul Pietersburg (another 4 stop and go's), onto Vryheid, Melmoth Eshowe.

I left at 4am and arrived here at 11:30am, so not so bad and we stopped twice for baby as well.

Keep you posted.

Talking about Jaen and lures.....

Just imagin this, the tackle shop owner see Jean's car pulling into the parking lot, immediatly he rubs his hands together and his eyes get the gleam to them, he lets all the staff know that he will handle this and quickly some good bait is set up on the counter.
Jean then comes into the store, everyone is going about their jobs and the store owner greets Jaen himself and shakes Jaens hand with his right hand (at the same time his left hand is rubbing his wallet warm for the new cash soon to be coming)

He trhen instruct his shop assistant to pack the new lures away, just loud enough for Jaen to hear. Jaen immediatly looks to see them..........

I will now go to the end of the story.....

Jaen walks out the store with bags full of lures and an empty wallet, as his car leaves the parking lot the store owner smiles and feels how fat his wallet has become.

The Question is: Were those lures designed to catch fish, or to catch anglers like Jaen?

I swear Ali must have spoken to you because this is exactly what happened on Tuesday
