That feeling you get in your stomach just before a nice loooong December holiday ....I'm almost getting that exact same feeling in my stomach for the weekend! .... this is going to be a loooooong Wednesday, Thursday & Friday!  :sadd

I suggest you take some medicine before you go. I dont mind people crapping themselves, I just dont want to see or smell it! Take some toilet paper just in case. If need be you could hop onto one of the Islands for a veldtie. w;k

No that happens the night BEFORE the trip ...not DURING the trip .... maybe because of an overdose uhmmmm ..sleeping pills ...yes ...let's call it sleeping pills ... taken to calm me down ...  :hehe:

Woohooo flows down to about 31 cub ! ...at this rate, I can almost bring my 2 year old daughter along to do the Vaal shuffle with me!

By the way ...on a serious note ... My son is almost 7, and would REALLY REALLY like to introduce him to Vaal yellow Fly fishing ... now if he stands next to me, when the water level is about halfway between my knees and waist, it will bew about waist deep for him .... I guess at this point it would be impossible for him to wade the waters that we are going to wade? I know silwer strome is out of the question, cause there I OFTEN wade waist deep ...

Never mind ....scrap that thought ... I was just thinking about the strength of the flow ... he will never be able to stay upright ... he can wait till he's the same length as me ... I'll rather have a son at home, not fishing with me, but alive, than one that has been swept away by the current ...

Eastco's first run would be perfect to introduce the youngster, as would Eendekuils first run.
History shows that Eendekuil's first run is the "perfect" nursery  for young anglers. Very easy wading as well as fish eager for the fly.

I'm also looking forward to Sat. Been tying flies, which is why I'm a bit late tonight, :sml:
