Light spinning setup
« on: August 12, 2020, 05:20:26 PM »
Hi Guys

Im looking for a light spinning set up to use of the rocks and surf but would also be able to use for bass fishing, so a 7-8ft set up.
Budget around R2000
Was looking at some of the Diawa and Oukuma rods and Reels

Please advise from experience which would a good setup.

Thank you.

Hi i've also been looking for such a set-up and thinking of getting the Okuma tactical 7ft with ceymar 30 reel. If you do get something pls let me know what you got and your experience with it. Cheers.

Go look in the shops and do some shopping. There is a host of slightly cheaper tackle that works fantastically without blowing the budget.
