Howzit..just on the offchance of getting a response im posting this.
Im a cape town based lure angler ( mostly) working and staying in seal point for the next 3 weeks or so. I fish daily for garrick (catch and release) in an estuary on my doorstep.. and fish of a kayak or anything that floats for tail etc ..also landbased lure fishing mostly. I also flyfish for garrick.
Anyway im up here with my kayak stuff , my 10ft shore spinning setup, estuary and shad setups , 8 and 9wt fly setups etc ready for anything.
Weve had thw kakest yellowtail season ever in capetown this year so really want to get onto some up here.
Obviously i have cecked some of the obvious spots out on the web and will do a rekkie this weekend despite the k*K weather. I basically can see verpunt and seal point lighthouse from where im staying/working.
If theres any ous willing to give me headsup when theres some fish around again or let me join them id be stoked!
Otherwise ill just work it out myself i guess when the water temp improves.
Oh and if you see someone wandering around verpunt or the wildside looking lost or fishing of a kayak around seals/verpunt that'll be me..
