« on: March 05, 2016, 12:48:16 PM »
Wet a fly this morning in Boksburg. I got this lovely little 4.5 kg carp on. Using a stealth 2 3 weight 7 foot rod with a 5 lb. tippet. HOW MUCH FUN IS THIS!!! Haven't done this in 4 years

15 to 20 min. Plus no scoop net. Had to tire it properly to lift out of the water. More photos to follow

What fly did you use? And was he tailing or did you follow the bubbles?

I followed the bubble. After my second cast just in front of his nose and saw him go for the egg after it settled. I make these in green, yellow, red, orange and the lot
