Rather use jerkshad's, bucktails and chiselnose for targeting Garrick. Casting distance is more important than vibration when targeting Garrick. This is for the surf.

Bucktails and poppers are a lot better. If you fish a plastic rather fish a 5inch minnow with a fast retrieve, they seem to prefer the minnow to a paddletail.

The pink McCarthy paddle tails have been working at Mazeppa for garrick recently
A fish in the water is worth more than two in the hand.
