Omani shad
« on: March 05, 2015, 07:10:39 AM »
Hi guys, had a blast in Oman with Ocean Active catching some very decent sized shad recently, amazing to see 4-6kg shad chasing surface lures in packs of up to 20 then fighting for the lure with the one thats hooked up, tackle used was Shimano Trevella ML's, Stradic and Biomaster 5000's with 25 lb Tufline and 30 lb Flouro using mostly needle nose plugs.

Thanks gents, it sure gets the heart pumping a bit faster to see big hungry shad in that mood.
Ulua it was out at Hasik island.
