I am off to the Eastern Cape in early January and would really like to catch a Grunter on fly. Been reading loads about the Jam fly but finding an SBS on that proved futile. So from reading lots of articles on it and trying to build it from looking at various pics on the net this is what I came up with.

Its tied on a 1/0 long shank hook. Tied a few better ones after this one.

Tied a few more of various densities from sinking to neutral. Will try some deer hair floating ones next.
