Lekker new Rapala Topwater lure

Rapala® BX™ Waking Minnow

The new Rapala BX Waking Minnow is an excellent lure which should be in SA stores by the end of the month. I have a couple which I have tested in the pool and going to give a run in Durban Harbour next week. A very good, easy to use surface lure, which should be a real cracker in the estuaries and harbours. I can't wait to get it wet!

Howzit Homie, I have been around, just extremely busy. I have spent too much time in front of my PC and not enough time fishing lately. Really looking forward to a session on Fat Girl with Mike in the harbour next week. Lots of new toys to test out!
The next couple of weeks has some good fishing in store with trips to Van der Kloof dam, Mozambique and Seychelles in the near future. Roll on summer!

Looks interesting Tommo... just wish Rapala would switch on with the use/overuse of trebles!! 3 trebles on a small lure... I mean really. Needs to be a conservation mindset change... single hooks please!

Anyone have any luck with these yet? Managed to get a couple of Seapike on mine in Durban Bay a couple weeks back...
