Chase spoons
« on: August 05, 2014, 09:53:33 PM »
Check these 55g Chase s-bend spoons out that I purchased this afternoon in Ballito at Chase Fishing Tackle. Also got one bullet spoon for long casting for natal snoek.  They are white metal with glow in the dark pattern on one side. They will compliment my iron candy and couta casting spoons very nicely. Cannot wait to test their casting performance and swimming action out tomorrow morning!

Great spoons with a proven track record , For clean water try taking a stanley knive and cut across a spoon just behind the red head then peel off the rest of the glow leaving you with a red head , silver body one side and plain silver the otherside . This is my go to spoon for greeny or clean water enjoy .

1969, thank you for pointing me to these spoons the other day. Yes, Rob at Chase Fishing Tackle showed me the modification of cutting of most of the glow below the red head of spoon. Will definetely try it! I took the spoons for test this morning early in very nice glassy conditions. Could feel on rod tip that they have very nice swimming action and their casting ability is absolutely phenomenal! Love at first sight (use) - lol! Fish was very quiet this morning though.
