Pumps for ducks
« on: December 14, 2013, 06:28:18 PM »
I have changed my way of pumping my duck .
Fitted a Cig lighter socket and bought a normal mattress pump . works like a charm , no more battling to pump up the boat when i get to the launch site or dam .
Quick and easy.  :clwn

Gords, have you thought of getting an old used dive cylinder. Perhaps look for a 7 litre 300 Bar.

Immediate, easy and convenient, you can also get a very reasonable priced fitting to top up your vehicle and trailer tyres at remote locations.

Yip it is , just easy for me to use the elec matress pump .
Got an old aircon pump on my van converted to pump to 14 bar , even pump tubless tyres that have come off the rim in no time at all.
Nice thing is if you out at sea and have a slow leak , i just put the elec pump and off you go back to the launch site .
Thanks for the tips , it all helps in the end .
