Port Alfred light tackle help pleas...
« on: November 19, 2013, 12:30:31 PM »
Hi guys. Hope you are doing well. We are on our way to Port Alfred and Bushmans for some work but we brought the light rods along for some play time and hopefully a fish or two after and before work.

Can anyone help me with some nice spots to try that is easily accessible? Also what  spinners, plugs or lures would you guys recommend or should we just go pop into the local tackle shop for some advice? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Machann, go to Build It in Port Alfred and ask for Ryan, he will be able to help you with current fishing.

Hi
Your most consistent bet is small 3inch drop shots with 1/8 to 1/4 oz jigheads on the full high tide in area where spur meets marina. Best if u can organize a small boat or canoe. Small leeries, shad, grunter etc
Regards
Bruce
