Apologies guys , my dad was extremely ill and in ICU , for 6 weeks .I also , had lil time to fish . It mananged a few throws , my self and Konrad , got messed up by an early morning cracker , we were short on bait , so the fever was short lived .The sea was really big over the weekend , I know maruis got a nice steenbrass early mooring on Sunday . I will for sure post more , I have lots of pics that heaping up .
Decided to give it one last try on Monday morning, so went back to Arniston, same spot ,were there from 5am till 9am ,not even a nibble,but was treated to a great sunrise with lots of whale activity, we counted like 8 of them majestic beasts.

Sjoe Lenny, thanks for this thread. A few questions if you don’t mind. At die hawe, do you catch harders off the long or short pier, and at what time does the skuite come in? Are you the oke who rides his bicycle with the engine on die plaat, i think he goes all the way to De Mond. Is there anything to catch higher up in the Heuningsnesrivier? I heard there are Zambies in there. I want to get some sinkers and squid from you. Dankie!
