Some good fish showing , Kobs .

Live bait are scarce , but more available than a while ago .

Some spotties around too . And some raggies . The rags are still til tok .

Hello Lenny.

Hope if you will be able to help. Im planning to go to struisbaai on the 27th dec 17. I have an light boat 4.3m rubberduck with a 50hp want to catch some fish. Is there any tips or place you can advise me to go to?

Im new to this site so sorry if not allowed to ask these questions here.

Apologies for such a late reply .
With one motor , you will be extremely limited .
But you can have some serious fun and fish within your 1 mile . Just outside the harbour towards the pioneer wreck we call the area , donkie spoor . You will have to work for leervis but they are there . They get big 15 kg plus . And in the same area one get those biiiig yellowtail they move in small shoals 3 to 10 fish . And if you fish to light , you will have ZERO change of landing them , they skrop the bottom .

Die afgelope 3 dae in die week woensdag don en vrydag tot laat nag , het ons baie vis gevang , Kobs , elf leervis , raggies en raggies .

Ons Almal , net vis Gekry , Marius , rousouw , Johan , knoppe mooie Gekry van 17 kg kob .
Rousouw , het ñ massive leervis tussen die kleiner leeries Gekry van seker ook van oor 15 kg .
Wollie en hanno het ook ñ klomp kob Gekry .

Meeste kob wat ons Gekry het was tussen 4 en 12 kg .
Ek het ñ baie baie mooi kob verloor , en knoppe ook hy het hom in vlak water Gekry , en op sy kop geraak en hoek geskud .

Paar galjoen in die ronte . Krakers mooi gebyt in arniston .

Ons het hulle gaan soek , maar toe ons Daar aan kom is die water ys ys koud . Ons net 2 steenbras sues release , en een galjoen size .

Hengel is bitter goed gewees .

Ons before nog ñ hele paar dae suid Ooste tekry .

Yes , fishing went off again , but since yesterday , they back .

I have been battling a stomach bug , but managed two kob yesterday in the arvi .

The raggies are just extremely pesky , and they will steal your tackle .

We get bite offs until we steel up , then they pick up the whole setup lead alles .

I have some photos , will post , when I have time .

I have to run , plenty to do , And want to fish a bit later again .

Wanna get me a rag .

Middag Menere hoop dit gaan goed. ek lees altyd die stories van struisbaai en arniston maar het nog nooit daar uit gekom om daar te vis nie sal graag eendag daar n draai wil loop dit lyk my julle manne het altyd n partytjie wanneer die vis daar aan die byt is maar ek se net dankie vir die informasie wat mee gedeeel is hier op UA hopelik eendag kan ek dit toepas wanneer ek kom besoek af le

Fishing have been ON , the past two days .

We landed plenty of good kob , landed a giant spottie , pb for sure .

Betweeen myself and knoppe we fished yesterday afternoon , struggled to get mullet .
We wen vas quikly , fstarted , with raggies , then knoppe had a spotti,, then I. Went vas with ñ large kob , spat th hook in the shallows .

Today , condsinsion changed m but the glass kept on falling .... fishing was happening angina today .

All the fish was between 3,5 kg and 17 kg , we bagged 2 of the lot for a Fry each .
My phone died , so I am out of a fone , but too pics on my camera .
Looks like the weekend condsions , will be fine again to fish for kob .
