Thanks for the report, Lenny.Do you know of a self catering place that will be cool with us bringing our Border Collie with? My sister and I had a disagreement about our dog in her house (my brother-in-law does not like dogs) and now we can't use here house anymore.
you need to call me Leon
Soooo , Locked and loaded , we missioned Sunday morn at 4 , armed to the teeth . Crabs / fresh redbait / tjokka .On Saturday the water was Luke warm , hence the cracker putting in an appearance , but the ssw messed it up over night and ice ice cold water brought everything to a stand still , not even a kolstert , bait came back in touched , we fished in front of bamboesgat / opskop / and 3 ' other places ' which will stay nameless hehehehehe . We did pick up there's either a red tide and/ or silt and sand in the water and lots of it . It's still around . With patches of clean water , here and there a bit of colour , but it's deceiving as that's the bloody silt , and these Struis fish are too spoilt .Loads of redbait around , some big. Koppe , we only too one kop , and filled a 2 l bottle . The weekend looks bad for any type of fishing . Giant swell pushing in sat afternoon , strong wind . Nah 7/10 I am only feeding the fish for the guys that do catch them .
Yep Kent , loads of guys heading down this side the weekend but it does look bleak condision wise . Going on reports online it's slightly of , but going on your charts posted ( thanks ) it does seem like what we expecting are coming ... Back at n the home front , yesterday there was a number of large kob landed , a few really good fish . Mainly on die plaat personally saw fish of 12/ 17 and 22 kgs , it was good to see that at least some of them got released , well done gents . It was on a westerly in crystal clear water , I think me might have a bit of an algae bloom.

You must have your parties muddled up bru , the derby , or official annual one are in STIL Baai, not in Struis .Nothing positive to glean from this channel...over and out!!.
