Ja elke sport het sy beserings. This usely happens when you get to cumfy. A raggie can do alot of damage.

Forsure , I think in this case its the guys are to in a rush to get their baits back in the water , I saw 40 odd guys , running up and down like mad , and ths was on day 5 ...

I did see a bunch of them yesterday , at the bottlestore , they looked PAP TYRES , and they just said ' ONS IS DORS "

Back to updates .

Wind is howling Westerly , I think there will still be some Kob Landed and STeenbras , Bellman , Kolsterte ect , The Galjoen will be scarce , because of clean water . It seems the water has cooled down alot too over the past 3 days .

Will keep an ear to the ground about the 5 species . I would have been bummed to see the forecast the whole week and to end like this . ARRGgAARGG

I overheard a guy at the tackle shop telling another bloke that more than 200 diamonds were caught during the week and the amount of fish that came out was mind blowing. Another guy was on his way to the Plaat because his friend just landed a nice Kob.

Maybe Struisbaai will make a good destination for next year's

birthday bash.

heard figures from one of the guides , about 7 Tons ...

Ok , So it seem there was not a lot of fish in the 5 Species , Or yet to hear from guys that made proper catches .

I did however , meet some guys to have a look at some Rods , and well ordered one , a 350/3 .
Pretty cool to see a couple of rods together and compare ,ect .
Turns out , Whaleride and Christo , were also there , yet agian , lekker to meet a bunch of guys that love fishing too .

Whalerider does the powerknobs for the reels .

Fishing is slow , NW wnd stuffed things up .

Lekker to meet you as well Lenny and ur Dad....bet you gonna be happy with your rod when it comes ....we had a bleak day at Brandfontein and only managed to land a kobbie and a hottie, but the weekend was awesome amongst friends as we had both frikkie and christo from Free state fishing with us

I can tell you guys , that it was not easy out there , as the sea was big , and I thnk Hermann , will confirm his body is a bit sore . LOL

Thanks Lenny. Yup, the sea was nasty at stages and my body took a proper beating and I still have some stiffness in my joints.

I know of some boats where all the crew got sick and they are all seasoned anglers.

Fishing is on , Sea has nice colour , and my dad got a good Craker this morn , ran out of Crabs , came home emty handed .

WE have a Bday today , so might only be able to get some Fishing done later tonight .

Betty01 is coming on Friday , and we gonna put some serious effort in .PS het n Vars Kat vanoggend gekry .

Sooooo , two 100 lbs Kob , was caught the past week , I did mention to you guys there was some big kob around .

Wind is Turning agian , I am pretty bummed , and then just got bad Fish fever , with load shedding , well more fishing will get done . And with Winter around the corner , some summer fish still need to get caught /.
