This sounds familiar, just ask Seventenths. Last time I went out with him the sea turned green with fish and we only got one.
I informed my wife of my plans to go to Struis and she like the idea but some new developments might ruin all my plans. My electrician on site resigned this morning and now I might have to go back to the DRC from the 20th!!

<:  Well it might be a blessing , that time its ops buzy , and they guys are drinking everywhere , morsig . I tend to fish at times when theres minimal crowds , mostly at night during the early hours .
This time of year the Site guys have a hard time , Betty01 also complained , and I know from the work i did too .

Awesome to meet you Lenny! I will be back in Struis from 17-19 Jan for our next Inter club! Look forward to hooking up again. Maybe we can get a chance to fish together this time! Sorry for being in such a rush! Friday afternoons before comp can actually be quite hectic, espescially with such a big area to cover! Hope the cotton comes in handy!

Thanks for the Cotton Graig , it will come in handy .Always lekker to meet other fishers , next time I will have some Frosties and a longer chat.
Next time , might have that cabby ready and heading  towards die plaat ...
Myself and crew , fished Friday night in a GALE , not fun , Trompie got a pull on a livebait , ang got bitten of , My mission was buggered , to much water moving around to fish a lure properly .

Some good news , wind still gale , BUT its now SE not SSE . Reports indicate it will slack down closer to the weekend , and the swell will drop too .

Lenny, every report is important even if the fishing is bad. We need to know how the fishing is so we can prepare for our next visit to Struis. It will be a toss up between take more bait (good fishing) or take more beer (bad fishing).  :hehe:
It seems the wind is bad all along our coast, we've been having it and my Dad told me it is the same foe Still Bay.  :wndy
