Great report! You have me jealous! I have only ever fished millstream once in the summer, but it was still rewarding. Caught a 2.4kg rainbow in lake millstream on a walkers killer funny enough, on one of those zinc row boats.

I know right, not mention when a lightning storm swirls up around you and you are other side the dam by the wall and you have to row amongst float tubes.

I am on my way to Millstream this weekend and I'm hoping to be at least half as successful as you were on your trip.
 
Never been there so not too sure what to expect.
 
Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Hi Matt, good luck! The fish will be in spawn so you should nail them on fast sinking wet flies with a fast retrieve on the bottom in particular the orange woolly bugger. I havent posted this on ultimate yet, but have a look at this link, it tells you everything you need to knbow about millstream and all the bodies of water and how to catch fish.
