Oxbow May day Comp

Anybody fished this comp yesterday ?? :trout:

I was there :) didn't fish though :( ran a shop for the contestants instead.

80 Anglers ==> 178 fish taken , best haul 9 fish - I know that they stocked with 400 KGs and their losses from the comp were minimal.
May 1st is always going to be hard as when the sun comes up it's still blerry hot and the troot become much harder to catch.


Best bet is Top dam at Sunrise and the the bottom of Sickle dam later on, fish near the culvert connecting the 2 lakes.
