Sustain 5000 with Sufix 832 would be my choice,

My 5K has proven itself up to the 30kg Sailfish earlier this year.

The Stradic5000 is a GREAT little reel, but only comes with one spool. Upgrade to carbon drag and you've got a little MACHINE of a reel! The sustain however would be that "one step up" - not sure if they come with 2 spools. On a slightly tighter budget, the new Spheros is very nice, though slightly slower (more geared for jigging)

Walking around Singapore tackle shops... All with in 250m off each other...

The slow pitch jigging jig stash grew as well as Varivas Slow Jig PE 2 braid and a few other odds and ends

I woke up this morning feeling terrible and I just knew it was TA.  I just had to go out and buy myself the Stradic that I have been dreaming about. Luckily for me they were sold out and I got myself a Sustain 5000FG. Loaded with some 20lb Sufix 832 and now I am ready to go chase some Leeries!  :yipee:

Spotted these sweeties a while back on another forum and felt they needed a good home. After a bit of courier failure, they finally arrived today.

Then wandering the streets of Jhb a week or two ago, I came across the little JM Power Spell PE4 selling 2nd hand. When it saw me it begged and pleaded with me, and me being the old softie that I am...

So it will pair with the Killersword 200-400g  :-)

Forgive me Father for I have spinned... It's been three weeks since my last cob session.
