everytime JohnF enters my shed and sees a rod hanging against the wall gives me a big hidding...he already gave me 2 rod holder bases and there's no reason not to use them

Hey 7/10... I'd suggest you make tow.... one trolley rod holder to wash/transport and one single row screwed into the wall to store your rods. This way you would not waste valued space in the middle!

my name is Ziggy and today my GPS let me to The Complete Angler in Kloof ....I am still hurting still hurting after losing my stradic in the harbour .....I picked up a sustain 2500, put it down, picked it up and then wrenched myself away from the reels ....and wandered off into the fly tying section....and dropped a small load of dosh.....

what to do about that stradic?

I always seem to end up at d shops during weather like this... "need" some mcarthys so heading down to kings.
ziggy I think your gps is more likely to be a fish (shop) finder than a road gps

I had a relapse yesterday, must be the k*k weather but I walked into Luckys in Manaba yesterday and ordered my Christmas "from me to me" type presents.....

1 x sustain 10000FG (light jigging and stickbait)
1x sustain 5000FG (replacing my light spinning reel on flick stick and for shoregame)
1x shimano symetre 2500FL (light estuary spinning and bass)
1x Shimano Travala 7ft ML (replaces my 7ft flick stick)
1x Shimano Talavera 7ft Heavy Spin (light stickbait and popping)
1x Shimano Clarus 6ft6" spinning rod (estuary spinning)
Plus new braid on all.

Trying not to think about the price but seriously excited to get my new gear in time for the summer season

My Bud Sarel got his first shipment of Bahama lures in and they are some of the best made lures i have seen so could not help myself. The dorries and hopefully a billy or two will not be able too swim past these this December.

TA struck me badly today and I fell off the wagon......

I bought a Shimano Crucial paired with a 7ft Stradic 2500FJ and spooled with Gosen 12lb braid (reel was on special)

not to mention a few "neccesary" odds and ends
