Hi Everyone, slightly off topic but im back in the grinder game. Just took delivery for a Assasin Spin Master, really incredible rod (Iv been through a few id say lol) Paired up with an Ultegra 5500... Bought a pack of pork chops so going to test it with the neighbours dog again.... *sigh*

Nice reel that Huge... just got myself one too! Lobbing it on the Poseidon Ultralight HMG for spinning... (Long casts...  :hnthnt: )

Ultegra 5500 Homes... long cast spool.

I loaded 50lb Sufix 832, got about 250m.

Shot Reefs - thinking of going the fire line route - not sure on the abrasion resistance though :(

Fireline is excellent as far as abrasion resistance goes... but it's thicker than most other braids (the original fireline fused). The Sufix 832 has this new Gore tech strand in it, same stuff used for Vascular surgery, Bullet proof vests etc... apparently claim that the abrasion resistance is good. Casts well too. I hope it's as good as they say it is, I've spenty a small fortune in spooling all my spinning reels with it!
