Catch Bait for Slide
« on: April 13, 2012, 09:40:18 AM »
To start you need to  + or - 1.30m line 0,35, 4 hooks (Mustad No. 6), a swivel and Sinker.

Step One: Pass the  wire through the hole of sinker.

Second step: Make a  Uni knot in the Sinker

Third step: make a Knot + or - 10 cm over the Sinker and +  or - 8 cm in width, so

Four Step: Put the  hooks
Last step: Make a Uni  knot in the swivel.
How to bait you can  use Prawn or chokka but the best is Prawn.
With this you can  catch many of small wave Garrick.
Tested, works very  well.

 :shre: MJ!

Have not fished with livies before, but one day.  Baby steps for me, but will certainly keep this in mind.

Sabiki jigs in the surf end up being a complete mess.... very frustrating.
We use a similar trace to this one routinely for scratching...

It does not make a mess because the hooks are properly separated.
I've tested it and did not make a mess

You misunderstand. Your trace is good. The Sabiki jigs have at least 6 hooks on, which become badly tangled in the surf.
