Hi guys, I have a Canon A800 which has a video camera and other awesome functions.

I was wondering do any of you have any advice on how I can go about added a head mount or head strap onto it? It has a tripod dock so im sure there must be a way without draining the bank account?

A very simple experiment would be to use a builder's plastic helmet and bolt the camera through a hole in the helmet

get one of those plastic safety helmets that they use on construction sites and put a bolt through the peak or the top(depending on where you want it) - make sure that the bolt fits the tripod hole - simple as that

But of course, it depends on what you want to use the camera for - certainly not a water proof solution

If you do what I suggest, then you will look really stupid also!

I am just pulling your leg, but want to try it as well with the waterproof camera on the ski. I don't mind looking stupid - too old for that!
