We arrived at Mihanzi about 4pm Friday afternoon and set up camp and my brother in-law and his boys not long after that.
The wind was a bit strong so we could not row in but still casted our rods in. My nephew Emilo caught the first fish round about six. My son Sheldon caught the second one between 7 & 8pm. I caught my first fish about 9ish, i caught about 3 for the night until about 12.
Saturday morning it was raining and the wind was blowing, but nothing stopped us from casting the rods in.
At about 1sh the rain had stopped and the wind had settled, we then decided to take the lines out with the canoe, we went in about 200+ meters. Not long after that my brother inlaw Wally landed his first carp weighing at 3.68kg. There were a few more but not as big as that one.
We decided to rig up a rod with the boilie at about 3o'clock where my nephew Dieago took it in with the canoe 250+. At about six that night hawk ran, which he then landed a barbel weighing at 4.84kg.
Sunday we packed up early cause of the weather not looking good.
