Fishing Honeymoon
« on: February 03, 2012, 03:01:34 PM »
Hi... my name is Wimpy and this is my first post.  :cgrts:

I am planning my honeymoon in July this year if all continues going well.
Does anyone know of any good RCI dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation in KZN with some good lagoon or estuary fishing?
I would like to do some light spinning.
Preferably fishing at the resort and not having to leave the resort to go fishing.

thanks guys, will appreciate advice  :tkx:

You obviously have not read Tommo's book "Fishing Yourself Single", suggest you take a read and make another plan, spoil the girl rather

Welcome Wimpy.

Now fishing is great, make no mistake about it, its all of our loves and passion. But give it time, there's going to be years and years for fishing.

Go and enjoy your honeymoon - there's only 1!

Wimpy, get hold of a tide table and start planning your honeymoon boet! New moon springs, is always a good bet  :hehe:  Splash out on a nice little Shimano outfit for her and you will be styling....

Seriously though, if she really loves you, then she won't mind you doing a bit of light spinning during your recovery periods. I don't know anything about RCI and their resorts, but I am sure they will have something at St Lucia, where there are some fishing options available. Vidal has some great shad fishing in July, which can be good fun on light tackle and you can snorkel with your lovely lady over the low tide. Have a great one!
