The pebble sinker trace
« on: January 17, 2012, 01:05:51 PM »
Was reading PH's thread about targeting bronze bream with a disposable sinker and remembered we used a similar rig to get drift baits out a bit further.  The idea behind this was to have a bit of weight for casting and then when the paper dissolves you have a free flowing drift bait.  By changing our original use of tissue/toilet paper to a brown paper bag (which is tougher) you can have a disposable sinker.

Change the paper to the type that suits your needs best.
Exchange the pebble for sand, chum, or whatever you wish.

elf mostly from deepwater points

also works great for reef fish like galjoen, zebra and blacktail if the water is not too strong
