:welc: Will you be staying in the cabins or camping. Either way "James Bay" which is right in front of the cabins and just East of the camp site almost always produces Bass. The office will hand you a map. "Durban Bay" near the dam wall is also a good spot. Will you have a boat?
Obviously carp fishing, barbel and fly fishing for tilapia in the reeds is also good, though I haven't done it personally.
(don't interfere with the gill net "anglers" on the other side of the dam, they will shoot at you. rather report them at the office.) :nobs:
Great dam to fish. Enjoy!

What do you plan on targeting?

Inanda dam is known for some very good bass fishing. As far as lures go, like any other dam it will be a case of trial and error untill you find what works on the day and for the specific conditions.
If you plan on fishing for bass, my 2c, I never leave home without a selection of plastics - flukes, paddle tails etc.

Let's see if Fishingadventures replies, I believe he will know this dam as well. Otherwise send him a PM and ask him to have a look at your post.

Whatever you do, don't believe him if he says that you can catch bass with any form of vegetable, like carrots.... :clwn

For Bass, also use green pumpkin paddle tail worms (and blue) and spinner baits. But try all sorts till you find something that works.
