WK Blanks... Mrs. Simpson Catches A Barbel On Lure!

Hi guys, Mrs Simspon, Assalient and I were fishing Footloose on Saturday along with Mrs Simpsons brother Darryn. We were hoping to get some carp and barbel on bait but nothing in 8 hours  swr swr

Darryn managed a nice Bass on a curly tail and a few minutes after that the Barbel were becoming very active in one of the Dams. Mrs Simpson ran down the bank casted into the reeds retrieved quickly and BANG  :sreel: VAS!!!!! She had never caught a Barbel before, and after landing it, her first Barbel was around about 3 kilograms and it was on lure!!!!!!!!!!!!  :shk I have tried many times with the hard and soft plastics and nevcer had success, its quite an achievement, well done to her it was an amazing fish  :happ: :happ: the tackle she used was also very light, 4kg line, 7 foot Pioneer rod and Penn Powerspin 3000...  :happ:  :win: Needless to say I was and still am  :envy

Ja bru... Didnt want to say anything in the post but my biggest Barbel is only 2.4kgs  :-(
